The NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety (FSC) is a global relevant fire safety qualification. The course is aimed at health and safety managers, facilities managers, health and safety representative and anybody who manages fire safety as part of their duties within their organisation
A National General Certificate (NGC) is specified in most health and safety job adverts, which means that people who hold the NGC have far better job prospects.
The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is valued by employers.
Holders of the NGC, registered in the UK, can apply for technical membership of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (Tech IOSH). Many students then progress to the NEBOSH National Diploma (Grad IOSH) and from there to chartered status (CMIOSH).
The National General Certificate course is broken down into two parts NG1 and NG2
– FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF)
– Award in First Aid at Work at SCQF Level 6
– NEBOSH Certificate in Fire Safety Units FSC1 and FSC2
– NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety
