To comply with Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992 it is a legal requirement that employers protect their workers from the risk of injury and ill health from hazardous manual handling tasks in the workplace. This includes providing staff with relevant information, instruction and training to carry out their work safely. 

This training course will provide employees with the knowledge to carry out Manual Handling tasks safely.  

It will cover manual handling risk factors and how injuries can occur, how to carry out safe manual handling, including good handling technique, appropriate systems of work for the individual’s task and environment, safe use of lifting and handling aids, practical work to allow the trainer to identify and put right anything the trainee is not doing safely.
